About Negoni Labs
An editorial studio for collector cars. We cover the auctions that sell them with every lot checked against the catalogue, the concours and ice races that show them, and the new cars built in small numbers for the same buyers. Two kinds of client: titles, auction houses and clubs that commission a piece, and manufacturers that want a car covered at launch. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on the road for Monterey, Amelia Island, Miami, New York and the European season.
Editor
Dmitriy Shibarshin, editor and founder. Dmitriy has covered Monterey Car Week from Dawn Patrol at Pebble Beach to the transport lots behind the auction tents, and has written on auction results, import law and the collector market for more than a decade. His work leans on verified numbers: results checked against catalogue estimates, prices quoted with buyer's premium stated, sources named. He has spent the same years inside the logistics of moving collector cars between continents, which is why the column is called Transport Lot and why the paperwork gets covered alongside the car.
What we do
On assignment. Auction reports, event coverage, car features and short film for titles, auction houses and clubs, under your masthead or ours. Assignments.
At launch. Low-volume and limited-series cars covered at launch, then carried to 215,786 newsletter readers and to distribution partners chosen for the car. Coverage itself is editorial and not for sale; the launch distribution, a dedicated send and the film licence are priced per launch. Launches.
What we cover
- Auction results, with sell-through and estimate analysis across houses rather than only the headline lots.
- Concours, vintage racing and ice racing: Pebble Beach, The Quail, the Monterey Motorsports Reunion, Amelia Island, ModaMiami, Goodwood, Rétromobile in Paris and New York, the F.A.T. Ice Race.
- Launches: new low-volume builds and limited series, covered from the car and the people who built it.
- Individual cars: significant restorations, collections and the occasional oddity worth the column inches.
- Transport Lot, the editor's signed column from behind the scenes: trailers, paddocks and staging lanes, and the people who move the cars.
- The market: duties, the 25-year rule, and the regulatory changes that move prices.
How we work
Every number is checked against a source that is named. Photography is ours unless credited; manufacturer press images are marked as such. No copy approval and no sponsored labels on editorial, because that is what makes a placement worth having. One editor on the piece from brief to final file.
